GRR: Rankings
Still somewhat quiet in the club HS game, but we will see a lot more games in the coming weeks.
It's still quiet times in the single-school leagues, but we've got some results, especially from Southern California.
The SoCal single-school teams will finish up in the middle of the spring, so it's very difficult for them to keep a really high ranking, but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt now and see how it all shakes out.
This second week of our all-DI men's college rankings sees little change as there weren't that many games scheduled, and the rain hit some of those that were to be played.
Goff Rugby Report has a new set of men's college DI rankings, now including all teams that play 15s through the year.
This ranking includes teams that played DIA and DIAA in the fall, and also those set to play in the spring. This is based heavily on historical results, so expect these rankings to shift over time.
Here is Goff Rugby Report's preseason rankings for Boys HS Clubs.
The rankings are based on last year's rankings, plus some adjustments based on a few early results, some observations, and some guesswork. Often, if a team had a good 2016, but it was something of an anomaly, we have moved that team down below teams with a long track record of success.
