GRR: Rankings
Last week we bailed on picking some games because we weren't sure about them, but of the games we had the guts to pick, we were right on 25 and wrong on four, which is a success rate of 86%.
Not bad, and we did get one winning margin exactly right and a couple of others one or two points off. So we'll take it.
Western Michigan looked very impressive in winning over Louisville, and Lindenwood-Belleville looked solid in a win over Iowa.
Salisbury beating Virginia Tech isn't quite enough to bump Salisbury to be ranked ahead of VT. Tech has been playing well and a two-point loss isn't always a reason to switch places. Salisbury is 2-1-1 in-conference and needs to show consistency.
The big question as we vote on the DIA rankings is what we do about St. Bonaventure losing to Notre Dame.
This past week our picks were pretty good. We got 15 winners right, with one tie (so that's a wrong pick) and one loss; we'll take that.
That, along with last week's results, now influences our DIAA rankings. Jumping into the Top 40 is Middle Tennessee State and Boise State. Dropping from #1 is Bowling Green, which lost to Western Michigan.
Well guess what, we've got College DII rankings right here.
It's been a few weeks since you saw any, so don't be surprised that you will see some major changes.
Such as ...Furman, Vermont, and especially Kings Point move up, especially Kings Point.
