Arizona State Leads PMC South
Arizona State (2-0) now leads the Pacific Mountain South after its 40-5 win over in-state rival Arizona (0-2). It was the only game to occur in the DI women’s college conference last weekend, as UC San Diego (1-0) and UC Santa Barbara (0-1) postponed their match.

2014 was a tumultuous year for women's colleges, but the controversies couldn't detract from some all-star performances. We honor award recipients for Women's College Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Player of the Year.
New Playoffs, No Problem: PSU Still Best
During the 2013-14 season, the women’s college landscape lacked unity. ACRA had formed and more than half of the country’s programs aligned with its fall league and championships. Some fall conference winners accepted automatic bids to USA Rugby’s spring playoffs, but many didn’t, which meant diluted competition for the spring national championship.
DI Final Four: Players to Watch
The USA Rugby Women DI College Fall Championship, hosted by ACRA, will contest its final four this weekend, and the victor will earn its spot in the national championship in May. Penn State plays Quinnipiac on one side of the bracket (1 p.m. ET); Norwich takes on Indiana on the other (3 p.m. ET).

Not too much movement in the Women DI College Rankings, despite the onset of the fall playoffs. A few key games outside of the ACRA-sponsored championship proved important, however, but no one team moved more than two spots.
