Penn State to Join Big Ten Conference for Sevens Season
The Big Ten Universities Rugby Conference has admitted Penn State to its Spring 7s competition.
This is a big move for Big Ten University Rugby as it helped elevate the standard of competition with addition of one of the top programs in the country.
NCCR 7s, National Collegiate 7s, Set for May; Tickets on Sale
ATLANTA (press release)– Sanctioned by USA Rugby and its Collegiate Council, the National Collegiate Championships Rugby 7s (NCCR7s) will serve as the official national championship tournament event for both men’s and women’s collegiate 7s.
NCCR7s will be broadcast live on NBC and CNBC, with additional coverage streamed on Peacock.
Greer City Christmas 7s a Big Success, Crowns 4 Champs from 4 States
The Greer City Christmas 7s proved a very successful event with four brackets of 7s from Boys JV up to men's college.
The City of Greeg, SC sponsored and supported this event as a way to grow recreation within the city and get more visitors to the area. It worked superbly.
Greer SC Parks & Rec Welcomes Top College, HS Teams to Christmas 7s
The City of Greer, SC and the Greer 76ers Rugby Club are hosting a Christmas 7s tournament this coming Saturday, Dec 10.
The tournament is hosted by the city's Parks & Recreation Department and in fact the city's P&R department started their own rugby program, the 76ers.
MetNY U23s Win NY 7s Club Bracket
The METNY U23 team won the Men's Club Bracket at the New York 7s Saturday, making it two championships in a row after winning the collegiate bracket in 2019.
On the way to the title the Met NY U23s beat Elysium All Stars, NYRFC, the Bermuda National Team, and BDA7s.
