The quarterfinals in the WIIL are set after the last weekend of regular season games.

UW-Whitewater already had sewn up the #1 seed from the North, and Lindenwood-Belleville had already done the same for the South. But there were some things to decide.

Northern Michigan clinched the #2 seed in the North with a 33-5 defeat of UW-PLatteville. Meanwhile, UW-Lacrosse played UW-Milwaukee, with the winner avoiding Lindenwood-Belleville in the 1st round. Lacrosse won to take 3rd.

In the South, Northern Iowa and Illinois State faced off with the winning team taking the #2 seed. UNI won 45-16. Depaul and Loyola faced off with the winner getting a playoff spot. Depaul won, getting the dubious honor of facing Whitewater next weekend.
