It's easy to shrug at the USA Men's Eagles games against an Australia XV because it's a non-test match, but that misses some critical aspects of what these games mean.
The Eagles are playing Australia XV October 24 in Nashville, Tenn. at Geodis Park in a doubleheader with the USA Women vs Italy, and then the Eagles play the Aussie XV October 30 in Harrison, NJ at Sports Illustrated Stadium. This is also a doubleheader with the Women's Eagles playing England.
Why should you go see these games?
Future Stars
The Australia XV side will be made up of players who are pushing to make the full Wallabies squad. Several players that suited up for Australia XV against Japan in 2025 are now on the full Wallabies squad, and this track is something we at GRR have seen time and again.

Many times players with an international A-side or a national team selected during, say, a British Lions tour, have quickly become major international stars. This would include Rory Best (Ireland A vs USA in 2009, and then 124 caps with Ireland and 38 tries); Johnny Sexston (Ireland A vs USA in 2008, then 118 Ireland caps and 1,108 points scored); the Wales 2005 tour (in a Lions year) had Colin Charvis, Ian Gough, and Mark Taylor, who combined for over 200 caps.
So this isn't the full Wallabies, but it's a very challenging team.
