West Point Camp Almost Full
The West Point Rugby Camp is 85% sold out and will sell out soon
The camp, run by West Point Men's Rugby Head Coach and former USA flyhalf Matt Sherman, the camp is for players who want to take their rugby seriously, but who are also looking for an enjoyable experience.
"We believe we can offer both a fun and enjoyable camp, that also challenges our players and is a rewarding experience where they improve and grow," said Sherman. "Our primary focus is on skill development, but we also give the boys ample opportunities to compete and play, while working on technical understanding of the game."
Sherman heads up a coaching group that includes longtime USA scrumhalf Mike Petri, newly-capped Eagle Harry Higgins, current USA forwards coach Marty Veale, Clemson Head Coach Steve Lynch, AIC Head Coach Josh Macy, and HS All American assistant coach John Banarhall.
"We will put a player in the right level group and coach to their level," said Sherman. "This we believe is a combination of both heightening their current abilities and introducing new ideas."
