Week 2 of Utah Youth Rugby's fall high school 7s kicks off today, Saturday, at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City.

Top dog in the boys division, United, isn't suiting up this week so there will be a new winner. United went an impressive 4-0 last week.

But there will be a new team as Kearns takes the field for the first time this season. Mountain Ridge, which went 3-1 last week, and Herriman, which lost only to United and Mountain Ridge (by a score of 10-5) would be your favored teams. All five teams will play each other, so everyone gets four games and the winner for the day is the team with the best record.

On the girls side, the field of teams has expanded to six. As a result, the teams are split into two pools: Pool A is United, Provo, and Wasatch, while Pool B is Brighton, Majestics, and Kearns/South Davis. The pool winners will face off in the final.

Wasatch and United played a tight one last week, with United winning by a conversion kick 12-10. Pool A does seem to be the stronger group.
