The USA U20 men have named their squad to face the Netherlands in what is essentially the Corendon Summer Tour championship game for this age group.
Both teams are 2-0 and both have shown plenty of ability. The USA U20 team has been explosive in attack and logged over 50 points on both of their games.
"Every team has holes in their game but this U20 team doesn't have a lot," said USA Rugby Pathways Director Brendan Keane. "The back row, with Lucas Pattinson and EJ Freeman, but really everyone we're able to put on the field, any of them, is really strong. Our backs are fast and skilled and really a lot to handle. We did start slow in our games, but once they got going they were very difficult to stop."
The Netherlands, for their part, is a bit more about power and while they hit Czech Republic hard they just barely got by Belgium.
Keane said he expects a battle.
"They are a lot to deal with," Keane said of Netherlands.
