The USA Men’s U18s are now preparing for their tour of South America.
Under Head Coach Luke Lewis and coaches Zac Mizell and Matt Wagner, the U18s will play a three-match series from July 11 to 19 in Uruguay and Argentina.
With squad selections identified through High Performance pathways, Talent ID Camps and the Boys High School Championships, this annual tour is a premier opportunity for the young talent to get a first taste of international caliber competitions and standards.
However, coaches have stressed repeatedly that this is not the end of the line for players who are not selected. This is just the start and players who did not make this team will still be tracked.
The team will plat the Uruguay U18 team twice. Argentina does not normally field a national U18 team and instead runs a small group of regional academies the USA U18 will play the Academy from the biggest region, Buenos Aires.
