The College Rugby Association of America Women's Premier 7s tournament field is set and it promises to be a barnburner.

All four D1 Elite teams are attending the May 6-7 tournament in Houston, plus most of the NIRA D1 plus some of the major teams from D2. Life, which won the Tropical 7s Women's U23, Lindenwood, which won both major 7s tournaments last season, Ivy League 7s champions Dartmouth along with Ivy runners-up and Tropical runners-up Harvard, are all there.

Sacred Heart, which won the Shark Attack 7s, and more are all there.

Rounding out the 16 are two D1 teams in Grand Canyon and Cal, and, due to a late pullout, a CRAA All-Stars. That All-Stars team is a fill-in team, to be sure, but offers players who travel with the attending teams a chance for more playing time.

But at the center of this tournament is an expected high level of competitiveness. There are potential Eagles throughout this field of teams.
