We did something this week that we should be doing every week as we put the rankings next to each ranked team.
We have some high rankings matchups, with De La Salle vs Torrey Pines in the All-California school final, Fort Hunts vs Gonzaga, and Tempe vs South Orange County both Top-10 matchups.
There are other games between highly-ranked teams and those nit quite as high that could have ripples. Really, this early, rankings 20-50 can be a bit arbitrary. So Berks vs Aspetuck could easily go Berks' way. Sam could be said of SFGG vs Marin, Vienna va Raleigh, and St. Edward vs Moeller.
Snow Canyon (aka Te Mana) takes on United in a game that has rankings and potentially national championship seeding ramifications. Genesis vs Mountain Ridge is a ranked vs non-ranked game but could be a stepping stone for Mountain Ridge to get into the rankings—same goes for Georgetown Prep vs St. Augustine. We're keeping an eye on Wando vs Greer too.
