The applications for the Boys HS National Championships is now open.
The HSNC will be held in Elkhart, Ind. Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27, 2023. The move to the Memorial Day Weekend was made in consultation with HS coaches due to a regional conflict with graduation weekend at the University of Notre Dame.
As has been the case in the past several years, teams apply to participate based on their record over the course of several seasons. Sometimes, when there are several worthy candidates from a specific area, they may be asked to play-off to decide a spot. Usually those games are already scheduled in the calendar.
The purpose of the application process is to ensure teams have the financial and organizational resources to attend, and also to give teams time to plan and fundraise when they are selected.
Applications are due February 15.
Decisions will be made mid-February, and teams must have their players registered with USA Rugby by April 1 in order for those players to be eligible to compete.
