It's a relatively quiet weekend in Boys HS rugby this week because, of course, it's Easter Weekend.
Several programs just take the weekend off. Others just simply avoid Friday and Sunday play. But with the Tropical 7s in action many athletes are playing regardless, just in 7s in Florida.
We also have 7s going on in Iowa and we've got a rundown of what's up there.
Still Tight at the Top in Iowa HS 7s
Games we're paying special attention to include Vienna vs Fort Hunt (so much so we'll be there in person), Royal Irish vs Aspetuck, Rugby vs Owyhee in Idaho, SOC Raptors vs San Diego Mustangs, BC High vs Milton, DLS vs SFGG, and two matchups in Utah—Layton Christian vs Snow Canyon and SLV vs Genesis. But its not just about ranked teams. Several non-ranked matchups such as Richmond vs West End or Palmer vs Monarch or McQuaid vs Fairport are important for our evaluations or for those competitions, as well.
