The USA Rugby South may have fallen short in the team's quest for a NACRA U19 championship, losing 24-0 to Mexico in the final, but they did their region, and the country, proud.
With no significant funding for the team, and with some states not really buying into the concept, the Panthers still represented the USA in the competition against full u19 national teams. Their B team went a competitive 1-2 and finished 7th, with some of those players still with three years left on their eligibility. The A team made the final, played some enterprising rugby, and deserve respect from the rest of the country.
