Some notes from the 2015-16 Sevens World Series.
Top scorer for the entire series was Madison Hughes, whose final conversion in the 3rd/4th game against Fiji made sure he finished one point ahead of Seabelo Senatla of South Africa.
Perry Baker was 5th in scoring.
Baker finished second in tries with 48, behind Senatla’s astounding total of 66. Hughes was 17th with 23.
Hughes led the Series in successful conversions, while Baker was second to Senatla in clean breaks with 64 (Senatla had 72). Hughes was 4th in the World Series in tackles made, with 118 (Fiji’s Osea Kolinisau was #1 with 128).
The USA was 5th in the World Series with 1,157 points scored, and 5th in tries (183) and fourth in conversions with 121 (108 of which were scored by Hughes).
