Elsie Allen backed up last week's win over Vacaville with an impressive 60-22 defeat of Bishop O'Dowd Saturday in Northern California DII action.

The Lobos got two tries and three conversions from TJ Salato against Vacaville in the 36-15 win, and then this week hammered the perennial contenders O'Dowd. No. 8 Joshua Kauvesi was superb, scoring four tries 

Kauvesi had the first two Lobo tries before Epi Feoko made it 17-5. The O'Dowd Dragons responded and closed the score to 17-10, but Lobo halfback Elias Bergstrom scored to make it 22-10. In the second half Kauvesi barreled over for two more times and Salato converted both. The Dragons counterattacked and logged a beautiful score to cut the Lobo lead to 36-17.

Two breakaway runs set the Lobos up, with monsterous lock Ryan Alexander dragging two tacklers over the tryline and Epi darting in for another. The power running of Pita Matasau had the last two home team tries before the visitors got their capping score..

The JV match was all Lobos to end with a clean sheet, 32-0. Sergio Davis led all scorers with ten points.

The result put the rest of DII in Northern California on notice that Elsie Allen could be for real.
