SoCal Griffins Named
Southern California has named the pool of players who will comprise the varsity and junior varsity Griffins teams.
Forty-five players represent 10 clubs, although more than half of those selected hail from Fallbrook (13) and South Bay (12). Both returned to California yesterday with national championships – the Warriors won DI, and the Spartans won DII. Fullerton, a former DII national champion, is also well represented with 10 players.
This Saturday, the players will convene in Fullerton for orientation and camp, and Griffins head coach Ravi Perera will divide the squad into JV and varsity teams.
