Grand Canyon University front-rower has signed with Rugby ATL.

There's been talk going on since August that the GCU prop would sign with Atlanta, but it didn't officially happen until this week.

Basically the delay was thanks to a long pre-signing look from the team. By bring Si'i into Pathway ATL, the club was able to observe him in what amounted to an extended tryout.

"We knew Lincoln had tremendous potential," Atlanta Head Coach Scott Lawrence said in a team-released interview posted to YouTube. "We just wanted to get our head and our eyes out a little bit and see how he went. He's done well so far and we want to invest in his future here at Rugby ATL."

"When I first came in I told the coaches here that being here is a big blessing and something not a lot of people get to do," said Si'i in the same interview. "I'm just trying to take advantage of the opportunity."
