The San Diego Legion will be holding a University Week surrounding its June 7 match against Old Glory DC, which includes three different events for youth athletes wanting to play the game at the next level.
On June 4, a Virtual Rugby Resume Workshop will help youth athletes take the next step in their rugby journeys. The workshop will walk them through the key elements of building a strong résumé while giving clear next steps and tools to improve their visibility to recruiters.
Before the Legion’s home match against Old Glory DC on June 7, the team is hosting an in-person College Fan Fest where attendees can learn about recruitment, scholarship and the student-athlete experience. Representatives from seven women’s college programs and nine men’s programs – including Dartmouth College Women's, University of Utah Men's, Grand Canyon University Men's, Saint Mary's College Women's, and San Diego State University Men's and Women's programs – will be in attendance to connect with athletes.
