Rugby PA Fall 7s Still A Maybe, But Closer
Rugby PA Fall 7s Still A Maybe, But Closer
Rugby Pennsylvania is inching closer to having a fall 7s season, and has in fact scheduled a championship even as regions aren't quite advanced to full-contact play just yet.
Rugby PA has opened up membership and told teams that they will move to Stage 4 tis coming Friday, September 18. Stage 4 allows for limited contact (which Rugby PA defines as touch rugby) and allows scrimmages between squads in that context. No full-contact competition will be allowed until Rugby PA moves to Stage 5.

No official deadline has been announced for the move to Stage 5. However, Rugby PA has scheduled its Fall State Championships for October 31 and November 1. There will be a boys championship on one day and a girls championship on another day. Rugby PA will decide by October 2 whether to hold that event.
