Rugby Colorado is marching toward its playoffs.
In the Boys D2, Weld went to 4-0 a week ago with a win over Castle Rock, a game that was called early because of a lightning storm. Weld has scored at least four tries in every game played so far. Right behind them is Eastside, which beat Vista 66-7 to move to 3-1. Eastside's only loss is a 42-29 loss to Weld in the opening weekend. These two teams appear to be on a collision course in the playoffs.
In D1, The Falcons from Colorado Springs lead with a 4-0 record
Falcons beat East 24-12 This game was played as part of the Try Jamboree at Denver City Park, where hundreds of youth players played. The Falcons were behind 12-5 at halftime but scored three tries in the second half to take the game. Kenny Passion scored two tries for the Falcons.
The Falcons and 3-1 PAC face off this weekend with the playoffs just a few weeks away.
