The Rugby Bowl Returns to Arizona State
Arizona State University is bringing back The Rugby Bowl, an annual event centered around a major ASU game.
Last year, ASU welcomed BYU to Scottsdale, Ariz., and this year the The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl will be held April 18 at Scottsdale Stadium, with an expected crowd of more than 7,000 and coverage from the PAC 12 network.
The title match features Arizona State Vs Ohio State. Prior to that game Grand Canyon University takes on USC.
The venue is unique, Scottsdale Stadium, the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants in the heart of Downtown Scottsdale.
The event also features an arm wrestling challenge with world champion arm wrestler Travis Bagent and a ‘Warning Track’ fashion show.
The game offers free admission to any San Francisco 49ers fans.
