We have some early playoff-important games in some of the earlier leagues.

Fallbrook vs St. Augustine Decides Who makes SCIRF Final
We also have some early-season tours. The Rainier Highlanders, with a renewed commitment to play tough games despite not many resources, is making a trip to Texas to play Woodlands and Four Points (not St. Pius as previously stated). This is a superb challenge for all concerned and a nice crossover matchup.
Speaking of Texas, Strake Jesuit vs St. Thomas is a clash of two teams that are 2-0 in the single-school league.
"Big game is an understatement," said Strake Head Coach Jason Kimball. "Not that the game needed any more excitement, but rugby is the only time the two schools compete against each other."
Strake Jesuit and St. Thomas are the only boys-only schools in the Houston area but for some reason they rarely cross paths.
"The rugby programs at both schools get a long extremely well," said Kimball. "It's a legit rugby fraternity. B ut both schools’ fans and alumni have a deep-seated rivalry. Should be an electric night of hopefully good rugby. I know when we play there in late March that they will have a full stadium; we need to take use this week’s home-field-advantage to the fullest."
Northern California picks up. NOLA Jesuit expands its horizons once more with another out-of-state opponent. Torrey Pines takes on San Clemente in a key SoCal Single-School match. And, as we said, there's a big game or two in Florida.
