The Men's team and the Women's team are both looking for new Head Coaches. These are full-time positions with full University benefits.
“We have been working for a while to get to this point,” stated Director of Rugby, Chris Amoratis. “We feel that the restructuring of the leadership of the program and the creation of these positions will allow Penn State Rugby to move forward in the ever- changing landscape of college rugby and know we are on a solid footing.”
The hires will handle some of the administrative load for their individual teams and assist the Director in all functions of the program. Their main responsibilities will be to player development, student-athlete leadership development, and on-field coaching.
“Our women just won their 10th National Championship and our men made the Quarterfinals of the D1A Championships,” said Amoratis. “We want to make sure that the program continues its progression to the top of collegiate rugby in the US.”
