Eight of the nine Pacific Western Conference teams are in action this weekend, including defending national DIAA champs the UC Davis Aggies.

Davis is 3-0 and in good position to win the conference again, but the Aggies face a stern test with Stanford, which has started 2-0-1.

Led by forwards Harrison Morrow, Jacob Phan, and Dan Finnamore,  and scrumhalf Joseph Vasileff, Davis is a tough nut to crack, but Stanford Coach Josh Sutcliffe likes his chances.

"It is a big game for us," said Sutcliffe. "I think we are developing well as a team and understanding our identity. We’ve integrated a lot of freshman, so it’s been a growing process as a team. As team, we are looking forward to the challenge of Davis. You want to compete against the best in the country and this our opportunity to measure where we are at."
