Sacred Heart's impressive showing against Princeton has sparked a bit more expectation for a tighter NIRA D1 this season.

Confidence and Trust Help Sacred Heart to Opening NIRA Win

With the Pioneers getting better and Quinnipiac's underclassmen maturing and with Dartmouth and Army losing some special players ... well what could the league produce? Is Harvard secretly the front-runner? Is Brown able to build on a good showing in 2021? Well we'll see something along those lines when Sacred Heart visits Brown and Quinnipiac is at Harvard. Harvard has a ton of young talent and some very classy returning players.

Previous Sorensen finalist Cassidy Bargell is back for one more season and she partners nicely with Alex Pipkin—two of only four seniors on the side—as well as junior flyhalf/center Brogan Mior and center PK Vincze. This is a very experienced and talented backline for Harvard, and it will be up to a slightly younger forward back to get them good ball.
