Western Washington moved to 4-0 in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference with a 43-17 win over Boise State Saturday.

In other action, Gonzaga moved to 3-0 with a 26-24 defeat of Oregon, Washington moved to 3-0-1 with a 36-15 win over Oregon State, and Western Oregon defeated Washington State 51-17.

Washington got big games from Jack Cannon and Riley Poulson, and the Huskies stay in contention in the NCRC.

WWU did well to win against a tough Boise State team on the road. The Vikings jumped out to a very quick 21-3 lead only to have the Broncos come storming back, scoring twice to make it 21-17  going into halftime. First half triess for WWU came from Nate Regan, Angelo Fernandez and Tristan Mohn.

The second half was all WWU as they shut the BSU attack with good defense while scoring three more tries. Touching down for the Vikings were Tristan Mohn and Nate Regan, and JoJo Akhredairy scored his first collegiate try. Noah Hanks had another productive game, going 5-for-6 on conversions. That, along with a penalty goal and a try made it 18 points for Akhredairy  on the day.
