NCR has named its first Men's Player of the Year selections.

A player from each division was named.

D1 Alex Nyamunda, Wheeling

The explosive center from Harare, Zimbabwe put together a standout junior season, scoring 16 tries as Wheeling reached the quarterfinals. Nyamunda also impressed defensively with 35 tackles and 17 turnovers. Big, powerful, fast, and elusive, he leads by example and voice for the Cardinals. Thanks largely to his impact, Wheeling is chasing a third straight 7s national title this spring.

D1AA Phil Tracey, Bowling Green

With 21 tries and 105 points, Phil Tracey led all D1AA Player of the Year finalists and powered MAC champion and divisional finalists Bowling Green. A versatile forward from Dayton, Ohio, Tracey played every position in the pack and helped drive an 89% scrum success rate, including 32 steals. Tracey capped his season with a try in the national final and a standout performance despite the loss.

D2 Reinhardt Stipp, Grand Valley State

A decorated South African high school rugby player, Stipp arrived at Grand Valley State on a track scholarship before starring for the Lakers. The lightning-quick playmaker totaled 22 tries, 168 points, and six 50/22s this fall. He impressed early in the national semifinal before a back injury cut his day short, but with elite fly-half skills and genuine track speed, he’s a rare talent.

D3 Joe Moleski

Joseph “Jo Bob” Moleski was a driving force in the Franciscan attack, punishing defensive lapses with elite vision and skill. The scrumhalf’s sharp service and booming boot powered Franciscan’s first-ever national title in 2025. He also stood out defensively, posting 82 tackles and five turnovers.
