Bozeman, Mon. – Montana is set to host its first-ever Montana Invitational High School Rugby Tournament in April.
This is an exciting new tournament bringing together high school teams from across the country. The tournament will take place on April 26-27, 2025 at the Bozeman Sports Park Complex. Teams from Hawaii, Colorado, Arizona, Montana, Utah and Washington already confirmed.
The tournament will feature three divisions, two U19 boys divisions with an elite and a premier bracket and one U19 girls division, featuring an elite bracket.
This tournament, organized by Montana Institute Of Sport and supported by the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce TBID Grant, is designed to promote a higher standard of play in the region, provide opportunities to be seen for our junior national teams and serve as a college showcase.
"We are excited to showcase high school rugby in Montana with this inaugural club tournament," said JD Stephenson, Tournament Organizer. "We have some quality sides in our region that don’t get the opportunity to play due to the logistics, weather and scheduling—it’s about providing an opportunity for meaningful competitive minutes that will allow for players and teams to grow and develop over the course of the weekend.
