Men's Cross-Divisional College Rankings 2021 Week 4

When judging who should be ranked #1, sometimes you have to balance wins and losses; not just look for an undefeated team.

Now, you'd be forgiven for assuming that Life University would garner the #1 team after beating Lindenwood, but that's not the case.

The thing is, Lindenwood beat Life earlier in the season. Life's win over Lindenwood on Saturday was much closer than Lindenwood's earlier victory. Aggregate score isn't the only consideration, of course, but right now we're going with that. It's possible that Life could got to #1 if, for example, Lindenwood doesn't look too strong against Iowa Central this weekend, or against Davenport two weeks later. This is a very close #1/#2 split.

Now every team save one in our Top 15 has actually played a game, and Notre Dame College will play one soon. Keep in mind also that there's a good chance that Queen's University Charlotte will play Life this weekend, giving us more data for our rankings.

On the slate, then, are these games:
Arizona vs Central Washington
Iowa Central vs Lindenwood
Queens U. Charlotte vs Life
Arkansas State vs Davenport
Marian vs Indiana
BYU vs Utah State
