Men DII College Rankings Week #9
There are little changes in the Men's DII College rankings this week as results and how they relate to other results and teams filter through.
We get the send that perhaps Lindenwood-Belleville is a little stronger than UMS&T, which is why they switch places, but you never know. St. Louis moves up thanks to a series of strong results after their one loss, to S&T. The big move is probably North Dakota State, which beat Mankato and that was after losing to then-#16 Winona State 12-5. So they're legit.Mankato could have moved down, except other teams are being moved down, instead.
A quick word on comparative results ... sometimes a team loses a game out of conference early in the season. After a while, if that team produces results in keeping with a higher ranking, we sometimes have to make that call. Salisbury and East Carolina are examples of this. No results, especially no result in August or September, is immortal.
