Wow, what a weekend in D2.
We had seven games between ranked teams, including some conference playoffs.
Of those, one was a tie even though the teams weren't that close in the rankings. One result was a fairly lopsided result between teams ranked close. The result were won by the higher-ranked team. We also had another result which was a forfeit win.
One ranked team, SUNY Oswego, lost to Binghamton. Binghamton has been a weird team for us because they did lose to Nazareth, who dropped a decision to Albany and had to forfeit a game (and you know we don't like forfeits).
Sam Houston State is one of our biggest upward movers, and that's just because of a second look at the totality of what they've been doing. Ohio's tie with Dayton locks those two together for a week or two.
Loyola (the Maryland one) is one team that beat a higher-ranked opponent and they move up. Binghamton beat ranked Oswego and enter the Top 40. Also coming in is Georgia Tech, which doesn't play as strong a schedule as the likes of Memphis but they have done well.
We remain very comfortable with our Top 10.
