Men D1AA College Rankings Fall Week 3
Some major moves this week.
There were only three games where both teams involved were ranked D1AA teams. We had a non-ranked team (Columbia) beating a ranked team (Binghamton). We had a D1AA team beat a D1A-level team (Sam Houston State over Texas A&M), and a team that tied a NCR D1 team (Tennessee).
One of those two all-ranked games was UMass (#17) over Northeastern (#26) and the 15-0 result was pretty much what you'd expect. One was Dealware (#31) over #21 West Chester. Delaware moves up significantly and West Chester drops down.
The other one was a major upset in terms of the rankings. Yale controlled the scenario in a 30-7 win over BC. The result from that is Yale gets a massive bump, 19 spots. Columbia moves into the Top 35 after a close win over Binghamton.
