The first two weeks of action was relatively quiet but we did get some results that showed us where we have it right, and where we have it wrong.
Expect much more action to come in the next few weeks. But we didn't see anything that blows up the rankings ... not yet. We do expect some significant shifting in the 25-35 rankings.
This coming week we see, as we did this past week, several top-ranked D1AA teams playing against D1A or NCR D1 teams. These are good tests for the teams involved, but unless someone really has trouble, it's unlikely a loss in those games would badly hurt a team in rankings. We applaud teams testing themselves.
Boston College vs Yale may be the only game of two ranked D1AA teams this coming weekend, but several games see ranked D1AA teams against ranked from higher divisions.
