Men D1A Rankings Week 1

David Barpal photo.

We open up the 2024-25 collegiate season with our Men's D1A Top 25.

It's difficult to change much from the final ranking from the 2023-24 season. We were tempted to move Saint Mary's out of #1 because they are graduating some very good players, but in the end we know also they are reloading quite nicely.

The one team we made a major move on was Cal. The Bears ended the season ranked #8 but we're not sure that is a good place to start them. So Cal moves up. We make one or two other adjustments, but the games will change things as we move on.
