IUP hosted a St. Paddy's Day 7s tournament last weekend and the hosts came out on top, defeating Kent State 26-14 in the final.
IUP actually fielded two sides, as did West Virginia, and the 1st side beat WVU 29-7, Frostburg 64-0, and Clarion 24-0 to find a place in the final. Kent State Kent State wasn't quite as dominant but battle through wins over Case Western (26-14), Alderson Broaddus (15-12), and Slippery Rock (15-0) to make the final.
WVU took third, while Slippery Rock, going 1-2-1, was the top small college team.
