Ireland Beckons; St Augustine On Tour
The St. Augustine (NJ) Hermits are in Ireland now on tour and will be combining cultural, educational, and rugby activities throughout a ten-day trip.
The tour is run by Irish Rugby Tours, and IRT tells Goff Rugby Report that teams are still touring and playing despite the news about coronavirus. With IRT handling the itineraries, teams are still following up with their tours and Irish Ruby Tours is still helping them.
Students & their families took a self-guided tour at @EPICMuseumCHQ after training today. Understanding the cultural & historical significance of Irish Emigration via interactive and digital media was eye opening! @SAThirdSemester @irishrugbytours pic.twitter.com/KAQ5gTJH82

On Day One, the players got a hugely beneficial training session with former USA National Team assistant coach Tony Smeeth, who is Head Coach at Trinity (Dublin University). Smeeth ran through some attack skills and decision-making work. The players will visit with Smeeth again as they prepare for a game on Monday against Good Counsel College, a fellow Agustinian school based in County Wexford.

What this is also showing is that touring and hosting hasn't stopped. Players and teams are still taking advantage of the benefits of traveling within the rugby community, and Irish Rugby Tours continues to be on top of the best places to visit, how to keep everyone safe, and in scheduling the best games.
And maybe a little bit of dancing, too.
Irish music and dancing all night through dinner - awesome experience! @SAThirdSemester @irishrugbytours @goffrugbyreport pic.twitter.com/DdNEHH8nYE
