So many big games this weekend.

Midweek Games and Updates Around the Country

Northern California, Texas, and Louisiana have playoffs. We have major rankings clashes like #7 school team Xavier at #1 Gonzaga, #2 St. Ignatius at #25 Moeller, #3 De La Salle vs #3 club Danville, and #4 school team Jesuit Sacramento vs #2 club Granite Bay.

St. Thomas Aquinas (S28) is at #7 club Woodlands, KC Jr. Blues is touring Colorado, Greenwich plays ~~Staples~~ Aspetuck, and the Charlotte Cardinals are taking on Raleigh Redhawks. Florida has their semifinals.

And finally a little nod to Jesuit New Orleans for pitching up through a very challenging season. They wanted to raise the level of their play and so played Dallas Jesuit, Strake Jesuit, Pendleton, Woodlands, 901, LaSalle, De La Salle, Gonzaga, Fort Hunt, and Vienna. They won one of those games, but that's not really the point. They played them, competed in all of them, and didn't back down. That's the spirit of the game, to be sure.
