The Great Midwest finished off its regular season and with the results the conference quarterfinal matchups are all set.
Wisconsin-Whitewater already has secured 1st in the North with a 6-0 record, but the chase was on for 2nd in the North. Marquette and Minnesota-Duluth went into their meeting both with 4-1 records, and Marquette pulled away to win 44-24, securing 2nd and a home uarterfinal.
UW-Platteville had struggled through a couple of cose losses and still had a shot to get into the playoffs. Platteville did it part, beating UW-Stout.

But Platteville needed Northern Michigan to lose, and that didn't happen, as NMU blew by UW-Milwaukee 66-5.
Illinois State finished 6-0 after beating Northern Iowa. Loyola hammered Northern Illinois to secure 2nd, but didn't need to as ISU's win over UNI did the job for them. UIC won by forfeit over DePaul to take 4th.
So the quarterfinal matchups are as follows:
Northern Michigan at Illinois State
Minnesota-Duluth at Loyola
Illinois-Chicago at UW-Whitewater
Northern Iowa at Marquette
The winners will go on to the conference final four, and there's a good chance that three of those teams will make the national playoffs.
