U. Chicago Squeezes Success into Tight Window
The South teams look to us to be very close, so #3 Loyola at North #2 Marquette could well be a close one. Usually you'd say the home team has the inside track, but maybe not there.
Northern Iowa does seem to be the big dog in the conference, but whoever wins this conference has three weeks of tough playoff games to go through. As the club president at Chicago, Mateo Rampoldi, told us, it's essentially win or go home for the next six weeks.
Central Michigan at Miami is a massive game in the Great Lakes, and it's worth keeping an eye on two teams that used to be in D1AA but has settled into a division more in keeping with their size. (Fun fact: while we knew Boise State was well under the 10,000 male undergrad threshold needed to be in D2, we needed to check on WSU. According to the figures we found, they ended up with 9,998. Winning!)
Coastal Carolina vs Virginia might be a big one in the Southern.
