Germantown Sweeps On Louisiana Trip
Tennessee’s Germantown HS team capped off a three-game tour of Louisiana with three victories.
On Saturday, Germantown defeated Brother Martin 57-10 and the Bayou Hurricanes (ranked #22 among HS Clubs by GRR) 59-19.
On Sunday, Germantown beat Jesuit of New Orleans (ranked #46 by GRR among single-school teams) 50-7.
Germantown is ranked #37 among HS clubs, but will almost certainly move up after that performance.
The Germantown forward pack set the tone for the weekend. Senior prop Jason Roman was a force while flankers Quinton Burt and Harry Hagan were also solid in the effort.
The backs were led by scrumhalf Carson Richards, who hit eight of nine conversions and a penalty goal. Senior fullback Lincoln Pare and senior center Sehrab Bagha were very effective running the ball.
Flyhalf Baylor Williams, Jr. scored two tries against Jesuit NOLA.
Next up for Germantown will be Power Center Academy and then they host Woodlands out of Texas in Memphis.
