Key pre-playoff games were the feature of the D2 college weekend and here some of the top performers of the week.
Our Men's D2 College Gamebreakers.
Charlie Whitaker, NC State
Stepping into the flyhalf position Whitaker was excellent in his side's victory over Furman, running the attack under difficult circumstances.
Chris Mathews, Miami University
Flyhalf Mathews ran a hugely potent attack in a big victory over Middle Tennessee State.
Ciaran Gavin-Quinn, Marquette
An effective runner throughout their win over UW-Whitewater, and once they gained ground, he finished it off with two tries.
Will Moulton, Norwich
In a big victory over UMass-Lowell, Moulton (pictured above left. Photo Norwich Athletics) led a really strong forward pack effort. Able to play both sides of the scrum, the New England All-Star front-rower has become the central figure in the Cadets' tight five.
