Finals Time For College Women
Finals Time For College Women
The Women’s College fall championships are about to be crowned and from GRR’s perspective it may not be all that different from fall of 2018.
Here’s how it looks:
Saturday, December 7
10AM Eastern Time: Vassar vs Colorado School of Mines
Vassar follows its game plan unlike almost any other team. They overcome lack of size with fitness and really solid teamwork. If Mines hits them hard early, Vassar can still wear them down.
12PM Eastern Time: Winona State vs Coast Guard
This is a bit of a pick ‘em game, but Winona State’s combination of athleticism and size, especially in the backline, could be the difference.
Sunday, December 8
9AM Eastern Time: Air Force vs Navy
There hasn’t been much crossover in terms of who these teams have played, but Air Force is averaging over 80 points per game and while Navy has a very effective defense, it’s going to be a constant barrage from a tireless back row and a center pairing that knows how to score.

11AM Eastern Time: Women’s DII 3rd/4th Match
We’re looking at this being Mines vs Coast Guard. But there could always be a surprise.
1PM Eastern Time: Women’s DII Final
Vassar looks to be the favorite and we think they will take down Winona State again in the final.
