Father Ryan wrapped up the Tennessee Girls State 7s Championship tournament with a 5-0 and a state title.
Under Head Coach Jessica Knowles, the Lady Irish didn't lose all season, coming into the final tournament 15-0, and ran the table.
They have not lost a game since last year's championship tournament when they lost to Riverdale in pool play. This makes it two straight 7s championships and three straight titles, including this past spring's 15s championship. In existence only since 2021, the Father Ryan program now has four state championships.
This year's state tournament showed off one of the team's biggest strengths, which is having scoring threats throughout the roster.
Playing unselfishly and moving the ball, the Lady Irish also played excellent defense, limiting opponents to just 12 points.
