We didn't run a rankings last week so here we are with two weeks' worth of data.

We are about to enter the national spring playoffs, and we'll see which of the eight DIAA teams in those playoffs might power through and challenge for #1.

Fresno State has really been impressive. Not in the playoffs, the Florida teams, might get there (Florida State). University of San Diego hasn't played a lot, but they could explode upward with a good win in playoffs.

Two other thing we need to talk about is some "yeah but" results. Mary Washington beat Bowling Green and we were tempted to say "yeah, but, this was in spring and not at the peak time for both." But, UMW didn't exactly play poorly in the fall. In the end it's fair to move them up.

Washington beat Oregon in a close game. But this was a game that had no bearing on the standings, and Washington has not logged the results through the season—Oregon beat them 39-0 in the fall so it's tough to toss that out, and it's tough to toss out an 85-0 loss to Western Washington. We put them in the ranking, because their results have improved, but better than Oregon overall? Hard to do.
