The long weekend cuts the number of DIA games down a little but, but we still have the Game Of The Fall so far in Penn State vs Kutztown.
KU has had a week off and is enjoying one of its best season ever. Pace combined with an improved pack has the Bears in the hunt to win the conference. But they have to contend with a Penn State team that is putting the pieces of the puzzle together. We singled out Anthony Adamcheck for praise last week, but the likes of Will Lyke (back and healthy and playing well in a back row that features Peter Jean and Joe Freeman), Jesse Capriotti (scoring tries at key moments), and youngsters like John O'Toole and Labi Koi-Larbi are are all contributing.
"We are definitely seeing progress," said Penn State Head Coach Justin Hundley.The chase in the Big 10 is for making the top two so you can play in the final. Indiana is 2-0 even though many are thinking that Ohio State is the strongest team in the league—OSU lost to Indiana 27-20 two weeks ago in a bit of a surprise result. This week's IU vs Wisconsin game is a big one for both.
