Here's a look at some of the D1AA standouts of the past couple of weeks.

Corinthian Cormier, Sam Houston State

The 8x8 Sports D1A player of the week, the No. 8 and sometime lock was a try-scoring force for the BearKats as they won the Lonestar playoffs.

Daniel Crawford, St. Thomas

The St. Thomas hooker led from the front as St. Thomas went 3-0 in conference play in Florida.

Brian Cain, Jr., Washington

The hooker and team vice captain scored three tries over the last three NCRC games, was player of the game once, and sparked the Huskies to a huge win over Oregon State.

Derrick Lei-Sam, South Florida

The USF lock scored five tries over the team’s last three games.

Sam Martin, Claremont Colleges

The CC prop continued his excellent form leading his team (he’s also the captain) in a wi over Arizona State.

Leinster School of Excellence

Jaxson Patterson, Central Florida

Patterson ran the attack from scrumhalf leading the Knights in a win over Florida.

Eli Ashmann, Western Washington

WWU took control of the NCRC this past month and along with that the Vikings played Grand Canyon close in a non-conference game. Ashmann, at wing, has been scoring multiple tries in many of the games over the last few weeks.

Thomas Keay, Boise State

The BSU flyhalf has led the Broncos to a rebound this winter, putting them in 2nd place in the NCRC.

Haydn Williams, American River

The ARC outside center has ramped up the intensity for the Beavers as they have vaulted to the top of the California Conference and he scored five tries in the space of three games
