When would we move a team up to #1 past what is undoubtedly an excellent Cal team?

Well, we think, if you're undefeated, have beaten pretty much everyone by convincing margins, and then beat Life on the road, that's about it.

So Navy moves up to our #1.

We have a few small but meaningful moves. Davenport nudges into the top 10. Ohio State with a competitive loss against a strong opponent, Western Washington with a solid start to their first D1A campaign, and St. Thomas with another competitive loss all move up.

CRAA will be releasing their overall rankings soon, and they use these rankings as part of their own computations. But expect those to be different.

Coming up, Western Washington plays Arizona, bringing the Wildcats into the action, and Grand Canyon travels to Colorado, where they were slated to play Colorado State and Colorado, but will only play the Buffs because of issues at CSU which have sidelined them this season and forced a postponement of last week's trip to Arizona.

That's why CSU is not ranked at the moment, and, hopefully, they will be back and we can talk about their performances. It's tough on GCU, which had their biennial doubleheader trip reduced to a single match.

Still, an important trip and game for both the 'Lopes and the Buffs.
