It's early days of course in D1A, but we're back with a new week of rankings.
We only make a couple of small changes, but this is a good time to remind you that playoff and bowl games have more of an influence than conference games, and those games have more of an influence over preseason games.
Non-conference games? They matter, but we're careful. Sometimes those non-conference games are super-important, while some are less so.
These preseason games are more-than-normally important as far as preseason games go, but they are still preseason games.
